The DJB Time, Speed & Acceleration (TSA) Unit is a powerful, microprocessor-based instrument designed for precise kinematics measurements in educational and laboratory environments. Featuring a modern touchscreen interface, this stand-alone unit offers fast, intuitive operation while maintaining the advanced functionality required for accurate physics investigations.
Much more than a simple timer, the TSA unit provides a wide range of measurement modes, including time intervals, event timing, speed, and acceleration. Its high-resolution timing capability (down to 1 microsecond) enables extremely accurate data collection, making it ideal for both basic and advanced experiments.
The unit also includes an Acceleration Data mode, allowing students to calculate acceleration from measured velocities and time intervals, as well as a dedicated Acceleration mode for direct investigation. Compatible with a wide range of plug-in accessories such as light gates, sound switches, reaction switches, and energy tracks, the TSA unit offers exceptional flexibility for classroom use.
