A high quality, high efficiency double C-Core, supplied with a strong rubber band to hold the two halves together. The core is constructed from laminated sheets of cold-rolled, grain-oriented (CRGO) steel, minimising energy loss and maximising magnetic efficiency. The two halves feature a rectangular cross section with machined ends to guarantee a flush fit for optimal contact when placed together.
Designed for use with the Lascells Transformer Coils (available separately), transformer investigations can be carried out, including step-up and step-down configurations and exploring the transformer equation to high accuracy.
