Mechanics – Force

strength or energy exerted or brought to bear : cause of motion or change : active power. the forces of nature. the motivating force in her life.

What is Force in Physics ?

In Physics, force is defined as: The push or pull on an object with mass causes it to change its velocity. Force is an external agent capable of changing a body’s state of rest or motion. It has a magnitude and a direction.

What is the example of force?

There are many examples of forces in our everyday lives: weight force (i.e. the weight of something) the force of a bat on the ballthe force of the hair brush on hair when it is being brushed.

DEFINITION OF FORCE. A force is a push or pull. Sometimes forces cause objects to move, and sometimes forces slow, stop, or change the direction of an object’s motion. Gravity is an example of a force that pulls all objects toward the center of the Earth. When you jump on a trampoline, gravity constantly pulls you down
